DERMagic Named Outstanding Washington Business

DERMagic Skin Care for Animals received an Outstanding Employer Award from the Community Alliance
and Association of Washington Business.

The award honors Washington State businesses, government agencies and non-profit corporations that
have made exceptional efforts to employ people with disabilities; and who by their recruitment, hiring,
retention and promotion polices are role models in their communities.

The Seattle-based company was nominated by Northwest Center, a leader in promoting the rights and
independence of infants, children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities. DERMagic employs
five part-time employees for making product samples and labeling products.

“We are grateful to receive this honor,” said Dr. Adelia Ritchie, founder of DERMagic. “The Northwest
Center is a wonder resource for local businesses and we’re thrilled to have found such dedicated
individuals.”
